My name is Alyssa Isis Cazares. I am currently a senior at Texas State University focusing on my Communication Design degree. I have loved graphic design since the 6th grade and I knew this was something I want to focus my career on at around age 16. My hobbies outside of school include watching films, loving my cats and DJing, which I have taken after my dad. I also make and design pinback buttons, which has been a rewarding hobby.

I hope to work with you and bring some edge to your designs!

Project 01

Project 01 was created during Summer 2026 in Book Design. I was inspired by a zine that had fold out pages, and I wanted to incorporate my love of horror posters with this booklet. I wanted to stick with colored ink, but I would like to explore Riso on a new rendition. This booklet features 3 fold out pages in between the tabloid sizes, and one full spread. My favorite page has to be, of course one of my favorite movies, House of 1000 Corpses.

Project 02

Project 02 is a zine I made in Book Design during Summer 2026. The binding is made out of nylon tights which have been wrapped around loose papers of tights. I was inspired by punk culture and a Japanese fashion magazine called FRUiTS.

Project 03

Project 3, which I have affectionately named Pussy Riot, is a zine I put together digitally about the Riot Grrrl Movement, featuring bands with lyrics that have spoken to me with amazing frontwomen.
